Ogun State is joining its peers across the country to hold a 4-day second round of the 20 14 National Immunisation Plus Days (NIPDS) across the 20 Local Government Areas beginning this Saturday, 12th through Tuesday, 15th of this month.
Olaokun Soyinka
In a statement today in Abeokuta, Commissioner for Health, Dr. Olaokun Soyinka indicated that the 4-day house-to-house exercise is yet another demonstration of government’s determination to further protect
children against the polio virus and sustain the polio-virus free status of the State.
The statement added that the immunization to be offered free is a follow up to the last round and is expected to capture eligible children who might have been missed, urging parents and guardians to take advantage of the exercise to immunize their children.
