Ace Afrobeats singer, Innocent Ujah Idibia, better known as 2Face, has opened up on his experience while married to his estranged wife, Annie Macaulay.
Speaking in a snippet of the upcoming episode of +234 Mzansi Podcast co-hosted by Nigerian comedians Nedu, Acapella and South African media personality, Kifilwe, the ‘African Queen’ crooner described the experience as “living in bondage.”
He went on to claim that his life was equally threatened while in the marriage.
Responding to one of the questions about his failed marriage to Annie, 2Face said “This thing wey dem call ‘living in bondage’ is real. There were some people who were ready to kill me.”
2Face and Annie walked down the aisle in May 2012, and they have two daughters, Isabella and Olivia.
The singer, however, announced his separation from the actress in a controversial post on his page on Sunday, January 26, 2025.
Shortly after, he began flaunting his new lover, Natasha Osawuru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly.
