Natasha Osawaru, an Edo State lawmaker and latest wife of ace Afrobeats singer, Innocent Idibia aka 2Baba, has set tongues wagging online after sharing a romantic clip of herself and the music star.
In the trending Instagram post, Natasha and 2Baba were seen swaying to some of his timeless hits, smiling and holding on to each other.
Just hours before the state legislator shared the video, Annie Idibia, the singer’s estranged wife, had taken to Instagram with a cryptic message.
She reflected on personal struggles and expressed hopes for her daughter’s future.
Annie wrote, ”I hope my daughter doesn’t accept things I’ve accepted, that she knows her worth from the start and that no matter what, she always has me in her corner.”
Many netizens who trooped to the comment section of the post shared by Natasha opined that it was a harmless show of affection. However, others argued that its timing raised eyebrows.
An IG user identified as @ganymedescrater wrote, “In life, don’t try to be a bigger person, don’t sacrifice your happiness for anyone. Reject anything that doesn’t go well with you because people will move on and drink your tears of regret.”
Another Internet user, @Cynosuredefi said, “Are they doing this to pepper his ex wife or that’s how 2facw has been?”
@Aerkitect added, “While I’m not defending or holding brief for tuface, I just feel that Tuface really suffered in the hands of Annie. Because when a woman has the mentality that she’s doing a man a favor by being his wife even when the world castigates him for having many children outside…”
