Ace Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Baba, has refuted claims that he was arrest in London.

He dismissed the rumours on Friday morning in a video he shared on his official Instagram page.

The ‘African Queen’ crooner was reacting to innuendos that he was arrested in London on Thursday after a heated argument with his wife, Natasha Osawaru.

The rumours gain ground on Friday morning following his failure to perform at his London tour a day earlier.

Reacting to the speculations, a visibly irritated 2Baba described his arrest as false.

He went on to advise netizens to always verify the authenticity or source of any news before sharing it.

Speaking in a now trending video on social media, he said, “We had a medical emergency. It was tough to the show organizers, and everybody that came out, we go rebook, we go come out with meaning to happen.

“And please, if you know sabi something, make una no talk I beg.”
