The company believes that this is the only way to attain new heights, achieve life goals and excel in an increasingly competitive world with plenty of opportunities ready to be explored.
The company’s representative, Uche Ogwuda, said at the media event that “digital services have become the magic tool to transform lives, and anyone who understands that success is aided by the application of transformative telecommunication products and services will understand never to settle for less.”

The products Glo showcased at the event to underscore its commitment to driving Nigerians to achieve excellence are Welcome Bonus, Talkmasta Reloaded, Magic Bundles and its revamped self-service app, New Glo Café. The company disclosed that the products have been designed to give customers the best value for money.
Globacom’s popular Talkmasta “6 for 6” has been reloaded with more benefits to make customers happier for making calls on the network. Before now, the product gave subscribers six free call minutes and 50 MB data for every 6 minutes of calls made. Apart from getting the free 6 minutes, customers now also get FREE 100MB (50 MB More).

Some of the guests at the event narrated their “Never Settle for Less” moments. For Atafo, it was about having to actualise his dream of moving from a paid job as a brand manager at a big brand to starting his own fashion label. Today, that bold decision has positioned him as one of the best suitmakers in Africa.
“That decision to not settle for less was scary, but today it has positioned me as one of the best suit makers in Africa,” he said.
Abati on his part noted that he had consistently challenged himself to go further rather than settle for less. He noted that this mindset has contributed to his reaching the peak of his career today. He also commended Globacom for its commitment to innovation over the years, describing innovation as the soul of business, whether in technology, business development, entertainment or other areas. According to him, Globacom has continued to stay at the top of its game by pushing boundaries.
Chike, while speaking at the event, stated that when he first started his career, he hosted a concert that barely had an audience. According to him “one of the few people in attendance, however, was a Nigeria Media personality and TV show host, and that gave me the motivation to push forward”. Today, his shows are consistently overbooked and well-attended — a proof that he chose to Never Settle For Less.
Speaking in the same vein, Amaechi said it was amazing that Globacom has not only sustained the revolution it started in the telecoms industry 23 years ago but also continously upping the ante with more robust innovations all aimed at satisfying the customer.
“Data is the lifeline of online publishing and those of us at TheNiche will attest to the fact that Glo’s innovative and revolutionary digital products have helped tremendously,” he said.
The full essence of the occasion was captured in the speech of the Head of Web 1 Sales at Globacom, Uche Ogwuda, when she described the new philosophy as a celebration of the resilient Nigerian spirit and a renewal of the company’s core mission.
Ogwuda said, “As Globacom approaches its 23rd anniversary, we gather not merely to celebrate longevity, but to reflect on a remarkable journey and, more importantly, to announce the spirit with which we intend to embrace the future.
“Twenty-three years ago, Globacom entered Nigeria’s telecommunications landscape with an audacious conviction that communication could be more than a service; that connectivity could become an instrument of possibility; and that Nigerians deserved not merely access to technology, but greater value from the possibilities it could unlock.
“For more than two decades, Globacom has been part of Nigeria’s story of enterprise, resilience, innovation and aspiration—connecting people to people, businesses to opportunity, ideas to audiences and dreams to possibilities.
“Today, we begin a new chapter with a new campaign philosophy. It is more than a communication line. It is an invitation to aspiration; a call to reject complacency, challenge limitations and continually seek what is better. It is recognising that what is acceptable today must never become an excuse for abandoning what is possible tomorrow.”
She stated further that the “philosophy speaks profoundly to the Nigerian spirit—the resilience to see possibility where others see difficulty, to create where others see limitation and to keep moving forward despite the odds. It speaks to the entrepreneur, the young Nigerian, the professional, the family, the creator, innovator, student, farmer, trader and business owner who believe that tomorrow can be better than today.
“For Globacom, therefore, this is a renewal of intent, a reaffirmation that progress must remain restless, innovation purposeful, value meaningful and excellence an enduring pursuit.”
Ogwuda then averred that “telecommunications are ultimately not about towers and technology in isolation; it is about people. It is about the conversations that sustain relationships, businesses that reach new customers.”
