Benin Republic striker, Tosin Aiyegun on Friday said he and his teammates are expecting a tough battle against Nigeria’s Super Eagles on Tuesday.
He made this known while speaking with Magasports after the Cheetahs defeated Rwanda 1-0 in Amahoro.
Aiyegun scored the only goal of the encounter 10 minutes from time.
With the win, Gernot Rohr’s side maintained top spot in Group C with 17 points from nine matches.

They will, however, need a positive result against Nigeria to qualify for the World Cup for the first time.
A loss against the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo will end their aspiration and leave Nigeria or South Africa in the driving seat.
Speaking ahead of the final group fixture,
Aiyegun admitted that the game against Eric Chelle’s men will be difficult.
He, however, assured their fans that they will give their all against the Super Eagles.
“It won’t be easy there, but that’s football. We dreamed of playing a great match. Now it’s against Nigeria. We have to give it our all,” Aiyegun said.
