“For a long time in our history of preparations for international competitions we have never had it so good,” said coach Gabriel Opuana.

“The accommodation and training facilities are excellent, the food is good and so far we haven’t had any of those usually issues we normally have in Camp.”
Opuana thumbs up the NSC for the excellent arrangement and the attention given to the athletes welfare.

“The athletes are happy, a reasonable daily allowance is being paid, kits have been supplied.

“We are happy to have Yusuf Alli around is always available to provide everything that is needed, the NSC has done a job we must commend them.”
Aside from the comfortable camp environment suited for Elite athletes preparation, Opuana, the former Hammer National record holder insisted that expectations are high from the athletes, adding that all athletes in camp are injury free  as the Team Nigeria contingent gears towards excellence at the commonwealth Games starting July 25th.

He noted that athletes and officials are enjoying the best made in Nigeria cuisine.
