2023: South-South Forum endorses PDP candidate for Ifo Constituency II in Ogun, Adewunmi

The South-South People’s United Forum has endorsed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ifo constituency II in Ogun State, Hon. Abdulfatai Adewunmi Adewunmi.

The group, which is the umbrella body for the people of all the states in the South-South geopolitical zone living in Ogun, gave the endorsement during a recent visit to the politician where they also expressed their firm support for all other candidates of the PDP.

The group was represented by some of its leaders, including Chief John Edosa Odiase, Augustine Ugbah Destiny Nwoba, Osuji Okechukwu and Richard Oyakhire all from different wards of the Ifo 11 Constituency.

The leader of the group, Chief John Edosa Odiase affirmed their love for Hon. Abdulfatai Adewunmi Adewunmi and consequently the PDP is undiluted, adding that they are willing to be fully carried along in all activities especially in this electioneering project of Adewunmi and other PDP candidates because they are more than willing to give all their support to the party.

In his response, Adewunmi appreciated the people of the South-South for their endless support and for taking the decision to join in the mission to rescue Nigeria, stating that he knows the South-South people for being truthful to their words.

He urged them to support the other candidates of the party which are Hon. Oluwole Simon Akala for Ifo/Ewekoro federal constituency, Hon. Olumide Aderinokun for Ogun Central Senatorial, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu for Governor and Alh. Atiku Abubakar for the president to win the 2023 general election.

He added that he is very much willing and ready to support the association to the best of his ability. He consequently promised to ensure that they are fully carried along in the constituency before, during and after the election.
