Radical preacher Abu Hamza’s three sons have been arrested in connection with a £1million fraud.
Yasser, 29, was detained at his mum Najat Mustafa’s West London home, with his brother Uthman Mustafa Kamel, 31, arrested nearby.
Their brother Tito Ibn Sheikh, 33, was detained in North West London, the Sun reported.
Police arrested the men on ‘fraud and money laundering offences’ after it was alleged they worked with a corrupt banking insider, the newspaper claimed.
They are alleged to have secured loans, cars and dormant funds by using stolen details.
Police reportedly arrested a married couple and another man in connection with the fraud.
Everyone who was detained has been released on bail, pending inquiries.
Metropolitan Police said: “Six people arrested for fraud and money laundering offences have been released on bail.”
The intelligence-led operation was carried out by officers from the Met’s Specialist Operations.
All six suspects were taken to a central London police station. Searches at seven addresses have been concluded.
Hamza, who was indicted in the United States in 2004 under his birth name, Mustafa Kamel Mustafa, spent eight years in prison in Britain for inciting violence before his 2012 extradition.
He is currently in a US prison serving a life term after being convicted of terrorism charges.
Prosecutors had charged him with providing a satellite phone and advice to Yemeni militants who kidnapped Western tourists in 1998, an operation that led to the deaths of four hostages.
Abu Hamza’s second wife Ms Mustafa has seven of his eight children.
