Eleven ships laden with petrol and aviation fuel have arrived at the Lagos ports, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has said.
The NPA in its daily ‘’Shipping Position’’ publication on Thursday in Lagos, said that all the vessels were waiting to berth at the ports.
It, however, stated that three of the ships had rice, buckwheat and general cargoes consignments.
It also revealed that 39 ships were being expected at the ports from Oct. 8 to Oct. 26.
According to the publication, 16 of the expected ships will arrive with containers, while eight will sail in with general cargoes.
It added that nine ships would bring in frozen fish, buck wheat and bulk sugar, while six other vessels were laden with petrol and base oil. (NAN)
