Morocco and Chelsea forward, Hakim Ziyech, has said he is open to leaving Stamford Bridge during the January transfer window, insisting anything is possible.

Ziyech, who is currently on international duty with Morocco at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar, has found it hard to pin down a shirt at Chelsea since joining the West London club from Ajax in 2020.

The Morocco international has also endured a difficult start to the new season, having started just two matches for the Blues before the 2022 FIFA World Cup break.

The 29-year-old was heavily linked with a move away from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, with the likes of Ajax, AC Milan, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur reportedly keen on adding him to their ranks.

He, however, stayed back in Chelsea at the end of the transfer window, despite reports linking him with the clubs.

When asked by NOS after Morocco’s World Cup 0-0 draw with Croatia on Wednesday, if he will be staying at  Chelsea or returning to the Eredivisie in the January window, Ziyech said:

“It is hard to say, difficult to say.

“We don’t know what will happen in the winter. It is football, so it is difficult to say.”
