According to her, these ugly experiences include the activities of inconsiderate landlords, incapable service providers, and crooked government officials.

She wrote, “Doing business in Nigeria is a horrible experience 99% of the time. If it is not a frustrating landlord, it’s subpar facility companies, NEPA deficiencies, or fraudulent government agencies who want to punish you for making an honest living. You’ll dot all your i’s and t’s but it is not always enough.”

The beautiful actress went on to say her company’s accountant left her organisation because of the unwholesome and unethical practices by the government officials.

She added; “Can you imagine? We broke no law. Filing/audit was up to date but she was upset at our principles”

She did not spare her customers, as she accused them of being inconsiderate at times despite knowing the challenges they face.

She gave Kudos to Nigerians running businesses despite the harsh business climate in the country.

“Then you have to make sure your customers don’t feel the burden. they will be pissed. they won’t always understand. Some will even enjoy your misfortunes, yet you have to do it all with a smile on your face and the best customer service. Salute to the Nigerian entrepreneur,” she concluded.

Zainab Balogun apart from being an actress works as a television presenter for EbonyLife TV, for which she currently co-hosts and produces The Spot. She also appears as a presenter and associate producer on Jumia TV, a teleshopping show.
