Yul in a now-viral video disagreed with Simon Ekpaβs approach, saying the βBiafraβ dream, cannot be realised through a sit-at-home campaign

Nollywood actor and movie producer, Yul Edochie, has advised Simon Ekpa, the self-acclaimed disciple of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on how to make the βBiafraβ dream come true.
According to him, the sit-at-home order currently being observed by the self-determination group would not bring about the actualisation of the sovereign state of βBiafraβ.
Yul gave the advice on Friday, December 16, via his Twitter page in an open letter to Simon Ekpa on the need to change his tactics and approach.
Ekpa declared the completion of the five-day sit-at-home order in a video uploaded to YouTube on Wednesday night, calling it βhistoric and successfulβ for Biafraland.

Reacting to the video on the Biafra dream, Yul, pointed out that the desire expressed by the group cannot be realised by a sit-at-home campaign.
He went on to counsel them that only an approach such as employing peace and diplomacy and not violence can lead to the actualisation of βBiafraβ
He wrote, βDear Simon Ekpa, βsit at homeβ will not bring Biafra.
βSuffering your own people will not bring Biafra.
βNigeria wasnβt joined by Emeka or Chioma, Nigeria was joined by the British Government for their own personal reasons, therefore suffering your people to make a point is of no use.
βTo achieve Biafra we must find peaceful and diplomatic ways to make the world hear our voice.
βAnd it starts by preaching love, peace and unity amongst Ndi Igbo.
βUsing violence on your people will only bring division.
βAnd a divided house can never achieve anything meaningful.β
