Up North, the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) led by Rabiu Kwankwaso says it has registered two million members in Borno alone, and down South, the Labour Party (LP) led by Peter Obi is galvanising youths through Twitter.

The INEC has acceded to popular demand and announced extension of voter registration by 60 days from the original deadline of 30 June. That provides a window for more youths to register to vote in 2023.
