New Man United defender, Leny Yoro, has disclosed why he chose the Premier League giants over Spanish club, Real Madrid.
He made this known while addressing journalists for the first time after joining the Red Devils from French outfit, Lille.
Yoro turned down interest from La Liga champions, Real Madrid to complete a £60 million transfer to Old Trafford.
In the deal, United will pay just over £52 million upfront and £6.5 million in add-ons.

It was thought Madrid was the 18-year-old’s preferred choice, but United worked hard to convince the Frenchman to join as he was considered a priority signing.
Speaking after singing for United on Thursday, Yoro said: “Signing for a club with the stature and ambition of Manchester United so early in my career is an incredible honour.
“Since my first conversations with the club, they set out a clear plan for how I can develop in Manchester as part of this exciting project, and showed a lot of care for me and my family.”
