Former Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo, has claimed Nigerian international, Ola Aina possesses the qualities that Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola “likes” in a defender.
He made this known on popular football programme, Africafoot’, while backing Aina’s potential move from Nottingham Forest to Premier League champions, Man City.
Speaking on the show, Yobo hailed the Nigerian defender, saying he is one of the best right-backs in the English league this season.

“Aina is currently one of the top three right-backs in the Premier League, and joining Manchester City wouldn’t surprise me at all,” he said.
Yobo added, “It would be a masterstroke for both the player and Manchester City.
“He’s an imposing defender but also an excellent attacker, something Guardiola looks for in his full-backs.”
Following the exit of some of Man City’s old hands and injuries to some of their defenders, Aina has emerged as one of the potential deals that the Citizens are like to do next season.
The Super Eagles right back was in action last weekend, as Forest thrashed Southampton 4-1, a result that leaves them on top of fifth-placed City.
