Barcelona boss, Xavi has described Joao Felix as the ‘difference maker’, after his goal ensured that the La Liga champions beat his parent club, Atletico Madrid 1-0 on Sunday.
Felix joined Barcelona on a season long loan from Atletico during the transfer window and the move triggered criticism in Madrid.
This is because the Portuguese international could potentially return to his parent club next season after the loan move.

However, speaking on his goal to Marca after the game, Xavi said he was happy for the ex-Chelsea star, adding that he linked up well with Joao Cancelo.
He said: “I have seen him working hard, stealing many balls, and he links up well with Cancelo on the wing.
“I am happy for him, I see him happy and that makes a difference. I told him to be calm because these ‘extra motivations’ sometimes take their toll on you.
“I am delighted to have him on the team,”
Felix’s first half goal gave Barcelona the victory over Atletico at home and effectively took them above the visitors on the log table.
