Ace Afrobeats singer, Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid, reportedly threw a ring worth £100,000 (about N85 million) to the crowd, during his performance at a sold-out show at Tottenham Stadium in London, UK, on Saturday night, while trying to fling his jacket.
This was revealed by popular British-Nigerian podcaster, Adesope Olajide, during a recent Instagram live session with his fans.
The podcaster expressed regret for leaving the front row when the ring was thrown, stressing that he once caught Zlatan Ibile and Diamond Platnumz’s rings at their respective shows

Speaking during the chat, Adesope said, “Why did I leave that front [row at Wizkid’s show] when that ring was about to fall? Ah! I have caught Zlatan and Diamond Platnumz’s rings before. These are thousands of pounds and dollars.
“Obviously, the Wiz ring, that would have been the one. I’m honest. I could sell it for like £100k.”
Meanwhile, Wizkid became the first African artiste to sell out the 80,000-Capacity Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, following the footsteps of Burna Boy, as the second African to sell out a stadium in the United Kingdom.
In attendance at the Tottenham Stadium concert at the weekend were Arsenal football stars, Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah, the show was also graced by Super Eagles’ midfielder, Alex Iwobi.
