Wizkid via a post on his IG page, urged lovers of Afrobeats music not to download his new album, saying ‘I’m not Afrobeats artiste’

Ace Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has warned his fans not to expect Afrobeats genre when listening to his new project, saying he is not an Afrobeats artiste.
He made this known via his Instagram story on Saturday, while announcing that his next album is ready.
The Grammy-wining artiste went on to urge fans of Afrobeats music not to download his latest album online, so that they are get disappointed when they listen to it.

Speaking on the new album via his verified social media page, Wizkid wrote, “Album done! See you soon b*tches!
“And abeg if you like Pakurumo Wizkid, don’t download this new album. In fact, delete me from your playlist and your life!
“If you like Afrobeats, don’t download my album. I’m not a f*cking Afrobeats artiste. I am not Afro anything.”
