Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has expressed disappointment in the
unprofessional conduct of officials of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA).
The former Rivers governor, made this known on Monday, while speaking at the flag off ceremony of the rehabilitation of roads in the territory, where he said he was shocked that the officials didn’t arrange the microphones at the event properly.
According to Wike, such attitudes were responsible for the bad state of the nation’s capital, saying if they cannot properly “arrange ordinary microphones, how will FCT work”?

The minister sternly warned those concerned that such “embarrassment” should not occur during his public function henceforth.
He said, “Let me express my displeasure to FCDA, it is unfortunate and that is why FCT is where it is. If ordinary microphone you cannot arrange it to work? How will FCT work?
“It is a shame that this is where we are at this level, and let me warn, all those who are concerned, this will be the last time I will appear in a public function and I get this embarrassment. If you don’t want to work, you leave.”
