Warri Wolves resume Jan. 9

Management of Warri Wolves have asked the club officials to resume on Friday, 9th, January while the players are to resume on Sunday, 11th January with a stern warning for all to adhere to the dates .

 

Apart from the dates of resumption , management has made it clear that there will be no screening rather, the club will pick three players from the 15 invited around Delta State vis-a-vis four from Delta North of the State, two from Ughelli/Oleh axis, three from the riverine area and three from Warri urban .

Management also confirmed the up-grading of two of the feeder team players, namely Obodo Martins and Akpoveta Ojevwe and also released the names of those the Club would be retaining for the coming season.

 

Among those retained out of the 23 are goalkeeper Okiemute Odah, Daniel Akpeyi, Tega Iriose, Goodluck Onamado, Joseph Eyimofe, Oke Ogagatewho, Monday Osagie and Gbolahan Salami.

 

Others who are also are Bright Akpojuvwewho, Michael Egbeta,Etebo Oghenekaro, Joseph Osadiaye, Omoforman Freedom, Stanly Dimgba Abu Azeez, Ibenegbu Ikechukwu,, Ichull Lordson, among others.

Management equally confirmed that the following players have joined from other Clubs and have been registered for various competitions that the Club is involved in.

 

They are Solomon Kwanbe from Sunshine Stars, Onyekachi Okafor from Crown FC and Kufre Ebong from Akwa United.

 

At the same time, Management also confirmed that Ifeanyi Ede has left the club for greener pastures and wished him well having played for us on loan last season.

 

Management has assured all the well-wishers that the Club will live up to expectations this coming season and thanked them for their support last season.
