Wadude, Bella Shmurda, others to thrill fans at Bayroot Bar and Lounge

On October 27, Nigerian artiste, Omolayo Iyanuoluwa Olamide, known as Wadude, and Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, also known as Bella Schmuda, with other talented stars will entertain fans with live shows and good music at the popular Bayroot Bar and Lounge, Victoria Island, Lagos State.

The event will also feature Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba who goes by the stage name Mohbad, Tolutope Ajayi, known as T Classic and Balloranking, Tia, Tobless RG, and many others.

The event according to the organisers in a statement said they purposely crafted the show to take place earlier than usual, promising to be more entertaining. The show usually comes up in December with the title, Detty December.

The statement reads: “Detty December comes early this year and comes affordable too at The Slaughter House Concert with Wadude happening at the Bayroot Bar & Lounge Victoria Island Lagos Nigeria and will feature a night of stellar live performances, good music, pure fun, and entertainment at a flat fee of #2,000 (Two thousand Naira only”.

The statement further explained that a star-studded guest list and more performers would be announced, shortly. It also described the Slaughter House Concert with Wadude as ‘the perfect way to warp up October and reel in the good vibes this ember’”

Wadude began his musical journey professionally in the year 2020 with the release of his hit song Zanzibar which went ahead to dominate the playlists of fans across the world with next to zero promotion. “A nod to the fact that this brilliant singer and songwriter might be on to something and is set to make his way from humble beginnings to the limelight,” the statement reads.

Earlier, we reported that his talent and potential for greatness earned him a contract with the highly esteemed Pioneer of Banku Music and founder, emPawa Africa, Mr Eazi. EmPower, known for its interest in empowering the next generation of African artists. The distribution deal which is currently seeing Wadude’s songs pierce the market has placed him above many in the highly competitive and lucrative industry.

April 14, a song that brings back memories of the #endsars struggle, Gemini Babe includes his debut Ep titled Last Dude, and a single titled On The Low are other projects on his table.
