Vote for non-corrupt leaders, Onyeama advises Nigerians

Foreign Affairs Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama, has urged Nigerians to support and vote for non-corrupt leaders that will improve the economy of the nation.

  Onyeama gave the advice in Adani, Uzo Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State during the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign tour.

  He said, “As 2019 election draws closer we should note that our destiny is in our hands. We must support and vote for leaders that are not corrupt but with good agenda to transform the nation. All these politicians coming to seek for your votes are bent on embezzling our money and destroy the economy  if voted into power.”

  He solicited for the support of the people for President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election bid, adding, “I urge you to Vote  for President Muhammadu Buhari to enable him provide more employment for the teeming youth, and build more roads.

  “President Buhari if given mandate again in 2019, will continue to focus on infrastructure as well as build and re-build all bad roads in the South East and Nigeria for easy access to different parts of the country.

  “One of his top priority is creation of employment to the teeming youth to enable them have brighter future as well as improve the economy of the country to alleviate the sufferings of the people.”

  He thereby re-iterated President Buhari’s commitment in the fight against corruption to ensure that all looted funds are recovered.

  Also, APC state factional Chairman, Oke Ogbodo, commended the people of Adani for trooping out  to attend the rally, noting, “this shows your support for APC.”

He thereby urged them to vote for APC  in 2019 election.

  The Igwe of Adani, Igwe Patrick Ezugwu Okafor, thanked the minister for paying him a courtesy visit in his palace and prayed for sucess of 2019 general election.
