Tired of bad governance that has plagued Abia State since the start of the Fourth Republic in 1999, a group of women said to be from the Methodist Church of Nigeria in the state were spotted at the popular OPET junction in Umuahia, on Tuesday, September 6, praying for good leaders.
A video showing the women praying fervently, has been widely circulated on social media.
According to those who witnessed the Methodist women praying, they said they were wailing in prayer for God to send good leaders to help Abia State.

A Facebook user, Victor Dickson who shared a video from the scene said the women were “pleading and uprooting every faulty foundation in Abia state.”
Others who also share the video said the women also prayed for good leaders to emerge in the country.
