Rioters vandalise APC’s office in Kaduna amid curfew on day 6 of #EndBadGovernance protest
Five days after hoodlums attacked the State Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital, others have been affected.
On Day 6 of the protest in Kaduna and despite a curfew, the rioters in Zaria attacked an APC office in the area. They pelted several stones at the building before aggressively destroying all its doors and windows with heavy objects.
Earlier, hundreds of rioters surrounded the campaign office of the APC lawmaker representing the Daura/Sandamu/Mai’Adua federal constituency of Katsina State in the House of Representatives, Hon. Aminu Jamo Daura. The protesters stripped the campaign building of all its roofing sheets, doors and windows as the #EndBadGovernance protest entered its 6th day.
The protest has slowed down in Lagos and Abuja due to the heavy-handedness of security agencies who denied the protesters the right to hold a procession. In the North, at least six states have been locked down in curfew due to the escalation of the protest.
