The women in Nasarawa State have stormed the streets again to protest the declaration of Governor Abdullahi Sule as winner of the March 18 governorship poll.
The police had earlier banned the women from further protest after occupying the state for five consecutive days.
The women had last protested on Saturday, March 25 at Lafia, the state capital, while the police command in Nasarawa, announced a ban on protest on Sunday, March 26.
The police had said: “The Nasarawa State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that all forms of protest have been banned throughout the state. Therefore, all proposed protests under any guise are hereby prohibited.”

But the women, mostly supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), defied the police to protest INEC’s declaration of Abdullahi Sule as winner of the governorship poll.
