VIDEO: Mammoth crowd chants ‘Obi Kwankwaso’ at Kano rally

A mammoth crowd attended a rally as former presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the 2023 election, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso hosted an ex-presidential candidate under the Labour Party in the 2023 election, Peter Obi in Kano.
The crowd, all decked in red caps, chanted Obi/Kwankwaso enthusiastically during the rally as both men looked on.
The former governor had earlier hosted Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, and former Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson, at his residence in Kano.
Kwankwaso shared the development on his X platform (formerly Twitter), expressing delight at the visit during the Sallah celebrations. “Delighted to host Their Excellencies, Peter Obi, Seyi Makinde, and Seriake Dickson at my Kano residence for this joyful Sallah celebration. Wishing everyone peace, blessings, and prosperity,” he posted.
The meeting was described as cordial and festive, reflecting a spirit of unity and mutual respect among the leaders. It comes amid growing interest in political collaboration and discussions among key national figures ahead of upcoming elections.
