VIDEO: Brave Nigerian soldier recovers stolen items from Lagos traffic robbers

The soldier arrived at the scene of the robbery five minutes late, and gave the thieves a hot chase on his motorbike, leading to the recovery of the stolen items.

Five minutes after two traffic robbers dispossessed some Lagos passengers of their items, a soldier riding on a motorcycle, came to the rescue.

According to some of the passengers in a video posted by Instablog, the soldier arrived at the scene of the robbery, which is the Eko Bridge, five minutes after the incident.

The soldier inquired what happened, then gave the traffic robbers, two male, a hot pursuit on his motorbikes. The soldier succeeded in recovering the stolen items, which included a laptop.

The passengers then made a video to celebrate the bravery of the soldier. They were full of praises of his gallantry.

Tweeps have also taken to their social media page to celebrate the soldier, calling him a brave man.  

The Eko Bridge, which is located near the popular Apongbon Market on Lagos Island, has been a hotspot for traffic robbers.

Lagosians who use the bridge have severally complained of being robbed.

The Bridge is one of three bridges (including the Third Mainland and Carter bridges) connecting Lagos Island to the mainland.
