British-born Nigerian singer, songwriter and Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality star, Victoria Adeyele, popularly known as Vee has finally revealed why she decided not to participate in the just-concluded All Star edition of the show.
According to the 26-year-old TV personality, she opted out of the 8th edition of the popular reality TV show because her ex-boyfriend, Neo and his love interest, Tolani Baj were part of the housemates.
Speaking on the latest episode of the Moni Talks podcast, Vee said the romantic escapades between Neo and Tolanibaj during the show confirmed her suspicion that her ex-lover was involved with Tolani while they were still dating.
She added that Neo once said she was “paranoid and overthinking” when she confronted him but the BBNaija All Stars show has vindicated her.

Addressing the matter during the show, Vee said: “Now that we’ve watched Big Brother Naija All Stars, I feel vindicated. I wouldn’t call it vindication. I would call it more of people seeing that there is always gonna be a bigger picture.
“No matter what you think you see, there is something underneath the situation that you don’t know about. Them [Neo and Tolani Baj] going on that show, obviously, brought it out. And that is the reason I did not go on the show.”
She went on to say she regretted continuing her relationship with Neo after the Big Brother Naija ‘Lockdown’ show in 2020.
“In my honest opinion, it would have been better if we went our separate ways after the house,” Vee added.
