Ahead of this year’s FA Cup final on Saturday, Manchester United defender, Raphael Varane, has identified the Manchester City players his teammates should watch out for.
According to the French defender, the Red Devils must do whatever it takes to stop the Citizen’s duo of Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne to stand a chance of winning the trophy.
However, Varane insisted that Manchester United have “no fear” of facing their local rivals at Wembley.
Pep Guardiola’s men after coming from behind to lift the Premier League title this season, are now trying to clinch the Treble with the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League (UCL) trophies on the horizon.

The PL champions have had 22 assists from their star player, De Bruyne in the league and UCL, while Haaland has so far scored 52 goals in all competitions this season.
But Varane, while speaking about the FA Cup final, said United players can nullify Haaland’s goal threat by cutting off the supply to him from De Bruyne.
He said: “Haaland is a very good player, we all know that, but the danger from City is everywhere.
“They can score from set-plays, from a possession game and from a transition game. We know we have to stop them as a team and collectively as a group.
“As a defender, the connection, especially with De Bruyne – that kind of pass is complicated to defend, so we’ll try to cut that connection.
“We’ll try to stop them earlier and not at the end, because sometimes it’s too late. We know we have to be strong as a team.”
