United States Vice President, JD Vance has alleged that leaders of the European Union (EU) are encouraging Ukraine President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy to continue the war with Russia.

He made this known during an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News, while criticizing Zelenskyy, whose heated exchange with President Donald Trump at the Oval Office drew global attention and reactions.

Zelenskky left the United States without signing the minerals deal which the Trump administration insists is enough security guarantee to deter Russia from further attacks.

During the interview with Hannity, Vance claimed Zelenskyy put up “a certain sense of entitlement” when he visited the White House last Friday.

He also said at the tense meeting, the Ukrainian leader was making utterances that he thought “were untrue, but the President “tried to be diplomatic.”

“I do think that there was a lack of respect, there was a certain sense of entitlement,” the former Ohio Senator declared.

Vance further alleged that Zelenskyy is being emboldened by countries in Europe and questioned the availability of funds and ammo Ukraine need to continue the battle.

“A lot of our European friends puff him up,” Vance remarked, adding “They say, ‘You are a freedom fighter, and you need to keep fighting forever.’

“Fighting forever with what?,” the Vice President queried. “With whose money and whose ammunition and with whose lives?”
