The Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma has told the President Bola Tinubu-led administration and security operatives to ensure Finland-based Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa is arrested and extradited to Nigeria if they want to end sit-at-home in the Southeast.
He gave the advice recently, while receiving the new General Officer Commanding (GOC) 82 Division, Enugu, Major General Hassan Dada, at the Government House in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
Speaking during the chat, Uzodinma told the new GOC that the topmost priority of his administration is to end the sit-at-home currently prevalent in the Southeast of the country
The governor went on to say a way to make that happen is for the FG and security agencies to bring back Ekpa to either join the sit-at-home he orders or get tried for his crimes.

Reiterating the need for peace in the Southeast and an end to insurgency in the region, Uzodinma said: “What is topmost in our cases is this popular sit-at-home order.
“There’s one man called Simon Ekpa somewhere in Finland.
“It is our hope that the security agencies, particularly the military, working with the Federal Government, will be able to either bring Simon Ekpa back to Nigeria to also sit at home with us or be made to face the wrath of the law.”
