The latest defeat means Joshua has now suffered four defeats in his professional career.

Despite the loss, he sounded upbeat and quickly dismissed any talk of retirement.

Speaking to reporters after the boxing bout Joshua said, “You’re probably asking if I still want to continue fighting.

“Of course, I want to continue fighting. That’s what I am. I’m a warrior.”

However, speaking after the fight, Usyk, who has beaten Joshua on two occasions, believes the biggest flaw in his defeat to Dubois was his poor movement with his footwork in the ring.

“Not shocked [that Dubois defeated Joshua] because it’s boxing. Daniel Dubois today was better,” Usyk was quoted as saying by Metro UK.

He added, “Anthony had one problem because this position [leaning back] is dangerous – if you want to step back, do it like this [by moving your feet], not like this [leaning], this is dangerous.”
