He gave the advise in Doi in Jos South Council at a rally organised by Women’s Affairs Commissioner, Sarah Yusuf.

Jang told the gathering, which drew women from the 17 councils in the state, to insist on voting with their TVCs if they are not issued with their PVCs by February 14.

The event was organised to sensitise women to vote for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidates in all positions in the state and for President Goodluck Jonathan.

Jang praised women for their role in national development, and attributed his success in life to his wife, Talatu.

He said throughout his military career and as military administrator of old Gongola and Benue Plateau States, he found that women performed better than their male counterparts in his administration.

He thanked Talatu for standing by him and taking care of the home front all these years, including now that he is governor.

Jang criticised All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Simon Lalong, for betraying the PDP on which platform he became state Assembly speaker.

Yusuf charged women to collect their PVCs, come out enmass, and cast their votes for PDP candidates.

Those presented at the rally included PDP governorship candidate, G. Pwajok, and Jang, who is vying for the Jos North Senatorial District.
