The Delta State immediate past Governor, Mr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, on Monday September 28, 2020, rejoined the People Democratic Party (PDP).
He defected to the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), after his eight-year tenure as the Delta State governor.
But today (Monday), the ex-governor rekindled the story of the Biblical prodigal son, when he ed thousands of supporters back to the PDP.
The ex-governor has also formally received his PDP membership card at his unit in Ward 6, Abigborodo, in Warri North council of the state.
Addressing the crowd, Uduaghan said that he only “stepped out for a few days to see what was out there and I have come back to strengthen the party. Today, I have come to reactivate my membership card. I have picked it up.
“I am hearing that there are a few challenges, we have the manpower, the experience to elevate our area and the people of Delta State, and that we shall do.”
