Nollywood thespian, Uche Ogbodo has apologised to ace singer, Ayodeji Balogun better known as Wizkid and his fans after berating him for his comment on Hip Hop genre (rap music).

Wizkid, during a recent interview with 10 magazine applauded the growth of the Afrobeats music in the international scene, but seemingly aimed a dig at rapper artistes.

The “Essence” crooner said he only listens to Afrobeats because most songs produced in other genres don’t catch his attention and went on to describe rap music as “boring” and “dead”.

He said, “I don’t listen to rap, that sh*t is boring to me. It’s dead now, it’s tired. These guys do the same sh*t, rap on the same beats, same flows

Wizkid’s controversial statement did not sit well with a lot of Nigerian rap artistes and celebs, one of which is Uche Ogbodo who slammed the singer via her official Instagram page while reacting to his comment.

However, the actress in her latest post on social media made a U-turn, begging Wizkid and his fans known as Wizkid FC, as she admitted she over reacted.

She went on to say she is not a rapper and therefore should not have joined in on a matter that does not concern her.

She wrote; ” I wish to apologize to Wizkid and FC make unah no vex. I think I over reacted yesterday cos I was angry over what I saw on the blogs. This War is not My War Please, let the Real Owners fight it 😞.”
