Nigerian singer and activist, Innocent Idibia, a.k.a Tuface, has implored Nigerians on social media to focus on getting Wizkid beyond the finishing line, in his quest to win the Grammy award again.
In a move that shows solidarity, the 46-year-old songwriter took to his Instagram page to make the plea, in the wake of the viral hilarious joke, that Wizkid was responsible for Rihanna’s Pregnancy.
Riri, as Rihanna is fondly called, seems to be expecting her first child with rapper A$AP Rocky, after she was spotted with a baby bump while being honored in Barbados, during their breakaway from British rule.

Tuface, who felt the news of Riri’s pregnancy is taking the buzz off the nomination of his fellow musician, Wizkid, for the prestigious Grammy award, has called on Nigerians to remain focused on his compatriot.
According to him, the noise around the pregnancy must stop for now, while attention should be shifted to another possible Grammy win by Starboy.
He wrote:
”Abeg make riri belle matter chill, for now, make nothing interfere with Big Wiz win for the remainder of this year.”
Wizkid bagged his first Grammy award at the 63rd edition of the award in 2021, for featuring in Beyonce’s ‘Brown Skin Girl’. He was previously nominated in 2015 for featuring in Drake’s album.
He has now been nominated for two other Grammy awards in the 64th edition, his songs ‘Made in Lagos’ and ‘Essence’ were picked in the Best Global Music Album and Best Global Music Performance categories respectively.
