Kepa Arrizabalaga is facing competition from Edouard Mendy for Sunday’s game at Wembley, despite keeping in every round of Chelsea’s route to Wembley in the EFL Cup.

The Spaniard feels Tuchel ‘owes’ him after benching him for their Club World Cup final win over Palmeiras earlier this month having kept in the semi-final.
He was dropped for the final and replaced with Mendy who just returned from the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon as the winner of the tournament.
Tuchel believes Mendy is the first choice, because of his outstanding performances in the Premier League and the Champions League this season and having been named as FIFA’s best goalkeeper for last season.
