Despite the introduction of Kane by the German tactician, the English striker failed to impact the final score of the encounter.
Speaking after the game, Tuchel said: “I’m just sorry for Harry Kane, he probably thinks we haven’t trained for four weeks.
“Our performance today had nothing to do with what we set out to do. It’s a very bitter evening, I’m sorry.”
Kane completed a £100m move from North London club, Tottenham Hotspurs to Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich after his medical on Saturday.
Kane flew into Germany from England on Friday night and underwent the first part of his medical at Barmherzige Bruder Hospital in west Munich.
He then completed the second part of his medical at Bayern’s Sabener Strasse training centre.
Bayern were, however, able to register him by 2pm UK time on Saturday, making him eligible to play in the German Super Cup.
