Trump made the announcement after a reporter asked him about the Secret Service detail of Hunter Biden

United States President, Donald Trump has announced that adult children of his predecessor, Joe Biden, will no longer receive US Secret Service protection.
His announcement came hours after a reporter asked him about Hunter Biden’s Secret Service detail.

Responding, the president said he is not aware of the development but would look into it
However, taking to social media platform, Truth Social moments later, he wrote, “Hunter Biden has had Secret Service protection for an extended period of time, all paid for by the United States Taxpayer”
He added, “Please be advised that, effective immediately, Hunter Biden will no longer receive Secret Service protection.”
The US President went on to announce that Ashley Biden, Hunter’s sister, will have her Secret Service protection revoked as well.
“Ashley Biden who has 13 agents will be taken off the list.” Trump further said.
Former US presidents and their spouses receive life-long Secret Service protection under federal law.
Biden allowed Baron Trump to keep his Secret Service protection after his 16th birthday.
