Super Eagles captain, William Troost-Ekong picked up his first major honour at club level after his team, PAOK Salonica won the Greek Super League title.
The White and Blacks on Sunday night defeated Aris 2-1 away from home to win the Greek title for the fourth time in their history.
Although Troost- Ekong recently returned to full training after undergoing surgery at the end of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in February, he was instrumental to the feat achieved by the Greek club.

He was able to make 10 league appearances for PAOK Salonica in the just concluded season despite the injury.
Troost- Ekong narrowly missed lifting the 2023 AFCON after Nigeria got to the final before losing to the host of the tournament, Cote d’Ivoire.
The 30-year-old defender was initially
overlooked by former Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro before he was brought back to the team ahead of the continental tournament.
