Torreira, however, omitted other top European strikers such as Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.

Galatasaray and Uruguay midfielder Lucas Torreira has named Super Eagles striker and club team-mate Victor Osimhen among the three best footballers in the world.
The former Arsenal player made the assertion recently during an interview with MK News Turkey.
Osimhen has already racked up 19 goals and seven assists in 29 appearances across all competitions this season for Galatasaray, who sit top of the Süper Lig table.

The Nigerian forward recently underwent surgery on an arm injury he sustained during the Champions League round of 16 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.
While listing the players who have made their mark this season, Torreira left out big names such as Harry Kane, Erling Haaland, Lamine Yamal and Vinícius Júnior from his top three.
Instead, the Uruguay international picked Osimhen alongside the Real Madrid duo of Kylian Mbappé and Federico Valverde.
Speaking during the interview, Torreira said: “Federico Valverde, Kylian Mbappé, and Victor Osimhen are currently the world’s best footballers.”
