Tonto made the revelation a few days after Yul Edochie took to social media to disclose he has been called to become a minister of God

Nigerian thespian, singer and songwriter, Tonto Dikeh, has said she got into acting by chance but her dream had always been to become a pastor.
The actress made this known in the latest episode of With Chude podcast on Friday, November 4, where she claimed to have always been a ‘church girl.’
The mother of one also stated that prior to venturing into the entertainment industry, she had always wanted to be a minister of God, adding that she hoped to still become a pastor someday.

Tonto said, “I’m an opportunist with this thing called acting or entertainment. But God has ordained that step already. For me, I was just swimming in a swimming pool.
“I mean, I was a church girl going to be a pastor. I was supposed to be a pastor, I still might be. Depending on where God is taking me to.”
This is coming after another Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie recently took to social media to reveal he has been called to become a minister of God.
The controversial movie maker made this known on Monday in a video shared via his YouTube channel, Yul Edochie TV.
In the post, he claimed he had received the instruction long ago, without taking steps to actualise it. He noted that the time had come for him to take steps as the calling had become “very strong” on him.
“I have a calling to be a preacher of God, to be one of God’s minister (sic), to preach the word of God through words and actions,” Yul said.
