Tiwa Savage and her former manager, Teebillz, got married in 2013 but got divorced five years later

Popular Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage, has claimed she is yet to experience “true love” despite being born 45 years ago.
She made this known recently during an interview with Zeze Mills of “The Zeze Mills Show.“
The ‘Somebody’s Son’ crooner during the chat asserted that apart from her son, Jamil, she hasn’t experienced true love from any other person.
She emphasised that when she looks back at her past romantic relationships, she realises that they were infatuation and not true love.

Speaking on the show, Tiwa Savage said, “I don’t think I’ve experienced true love apart from my son. Because every time I look back at all my relationships, I’m like, nah, that wasn’t love. I was just infatuated. At that time I thought I was in love. I don’t think I experienced true love even when I was married.”
The mother of one further noted that she has now reached a conclusion that love isn’t for her because she has tried over and over to find true love to no avail.
“Maybe love isn’t for me because I have tried over and over again so maybe love isn’t for me this lifetime,” she added.
Tiwa Savage and her former manager Tunji Balogun, aka Teebillz, walked down the aisle in 2013 but divorced in 2018 after attempts to resolve their differences proved futile.
Their marriage produced a son called Jamil.
