Tiwa Savage was on the verge of becoming the first female Afrobeats singer to headline at the 13,000-capacity arena

Popular Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage has taken to her social media page to announce the postponement of all performances.
The ‘Somebody’s Son’ crooner disclosed this in a recent statement released via her Instagram page.
According to the mother of one, the cancellation will also affect her first-ever headline arena show in London, United Kingdom.
The singer, prior to the announcement, was slated to thrill fans at the “Tiwa Savage and Friends” show billed for the Wembley Arena on November 26.
The performance would have made her the first female Afrobeats artiste to headline an event at the 13,000-capacity arena
However, having been advised to be “on strict vocal rest for the next few months”, she has now postponed the concern because of a virus she has been battling for the past few weeks

Speaking via her social media page, Tiwa Savage wrote: “To my dear Savage Soldiers, I’ve been fighting off a virus for the past few weeks and was today firmly instructed to be on strict vocal rest for the next few months.
“I will unfortunately have to postpone all performances including my first-ever headline arena show in London.
“I’m heartbroken and devastated but I have to do this to save what’s left of my voice.
“I’m so sorry. I love you all and promise to be back performing once I’m fully healed.”
