Ace Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage has heaped praises on her colleague, Olamide after he rejected the N100 million he paid him to sing a verse in her song.

The ‘Somebody’s Son’ crooner made this known in a post she shared on her Instagram page on Wednesday, explaining that Olamide rejected the money after his management billed her.

She further noted that the YBNL record owner didn’t charge her because he knew the difficulties female artistes face in Nigeria’s music industry.

While speaking on their sibling-like bond, Tiwa appreciated the rapper for helping her and showing how much he cares about her.

Taking to her verified social media page, she wrote, “I was talking to his management, I did not want to talk to him directly because he would want to do it for free. I was willing to pay and his team charged me N100m. When Olamide asked them who the artiste was, he just said NO. He won’t take it.

“He said I’m his sister and he knows how difficult it is for a woman to make it in the industry. And guess what? He gave the verse for free. Good people exist and Baddo is one.”
