Tiwa Savage dares men to woo her openly, Pere shoots his shot

Tiwa Savage urged men flocking to her DM to make romantic advances toward her to make their intentions public

Ace Nigerian music star, Tiwa Savage, and former BBNaija housemate, Pere Egbi, got tongues wagging on social media after a recent conversation on Twitter.

The singer and mother of one had disclosed that some men are flocking to her direct message (DM) box to make romantic advances towards her. 

Tiwa then dared the men coming into her DM not to make their love advances a private affair and make their intentions public.  

In her words, “Una too dey rush me for my DM. Declare your love openly.”

Responding to her tweet, thespian and BBNaija star, Pere replied the ‘Koroba’ crooner’ in a very hilarious but suggestive manner.

According to him, he would rather do his toasting in the closet to avoid being rejected publicly. He, however, went ahead to subtly declare his interest. 

He tweeted, “If we come out openly, we fit cast. But nothing dey happen. We are openly open about this.” 

Pere’s response to Tiwa’s tweet has since then gone viral and elicited mixed reactions from netizens who trooped to the comment section to join in on the conversation.  

While some believed the singer was seeking attention, others urged the duo to give a relationship a trial, because they look good together. 

A Twitter user, Insta.fabss wrote, “If she agree for Obama then there’s hope for Pere.” 

Another netizen, Wtsfree_ said, “Oh oh this a typical example of shoot your shot.” 

Shainaohronegiyaelizaquakers added, “These two beautiful souls will make a cutie couple ooo.” 

While Just2ice11 wrote, “Na lie, nobody dey disturb her anything. She just wan stay relevant because Ayra don dey go foreign and she’s killing it.
