Afrobeats star, Tiwa Savage, has clarified speculations that she’s romantically involved with her colleague, Wizkid, saying though she cares about him, they are not dating.
She made this known while featuring as a guest in the latest episode of ‘TheBreakfast Club’.
Savage recently revealed in an earlier interview that she once dated a public figure.
According to her, the relationship was kept away from the spotlight because her partner preferred to remain discreet, even though he openly flirts with other women under the guise of protecting their privacy.
Her comments later sparked widespread speculations, as many Nigerians suggested she was referring to Wizkid.
However, in her latest interview, Savage debunked the speculations, stressing that while she has deep admiration and respect for Wizkid, he was not the celebrity in question.
She said, “Shoutout to wizkid. I love and respect him but he isn’t the one I was referring to. I said the person was a public figure but it’s not him.”
Despite her clarification, the mother of one declined to disclose the identity of the celebrity she dated.
