President Bola Tinubu has said it is not in his dictionary to blame past administrations for Nigeria’s economic woes, as he is focused on solving the country’s problems, not buck passing.

He made this known to Nigerians recently while speaking in Minna, the Niger State capital.

According to the president, he would rather take action and re-engineer the country on the right path to success, than blame others.

He went on to encourage Nigerians going through social and economic hardship, assuring them that perseverance and consistency will make the country great again.

Tinubu said: “When you read the papers, some of us are confused whether to abuse the present or the past (governments) or make excuses for the future.

“It’s not in my dictionary, my focus is to take action now, do your best, re-engineer the finances of the country and stay ahead of the right path.

“Those who may be complaining now have to understand that perseverance and consistency will make a nation great.”
