The campaign train of the All Progressives Congress (APC) arrived Kwara today, January 17, with huge crowd haling the entourage led by party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The entourage was greeted by party enthusiasts at the airport, and escorted to the venue, which is the Kwara State Stadium.

Kwara Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, said the crowd at the venue is testament to the acceptance of APC in the state.

Abdulrasaq urged the state’s voters to reject the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) whom he claimed misrule the state, owed salaries and pensions, and looted Universal Basic Education (UBEC) funds.

Party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, said the crowd at the rally has given them the confidence that Kwara is the home of APC.

APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, said the people of Kwara deserve to congratulate themselves for securing their freedom from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) four years ago.

He said the broom revolution, which the APC represents, has been sweeping away corruption, insecurity, fraud and other sundry crimes in Nigeria. He urged the people to vote the APC for the consolidation of those gains.
